The Story
Kālī means “the black one” or “beyond time.” She is called the ‘Black Goddess’. She is a fierce form of Shakti. In Indian myth and philosophy, Kali is a form of the mother Goddess. She is a powerful force of spiritual liberation. Kali represents hidden knowledge.
Kali’s three eyes represent the sun, moon, and fire. With her three eyes, she reminds us to perceive our true nature beyond the past, present, and future.
